Eddie,

This was driving me crazy also! It's an easy fix (but not for labels already placed). The settings are under the Label tab.

Note: we are using 2021 R2

I actually found the fix under the Bentley help. The name of the page was "Locks Available in the Civil Labeler"

Hello Eddie. Has this issue been resolved yet? One of my colleagues using ORD 2021 R2, is having this problem as well.

Why, oh why, for the love of all that is good, why would Bentley do away with the Geopak labeler before perfecting a newer tool/method? The ORD labeler is pretty good, but it should be possible to edit a label. With no disrespect, the ability to create and properly edit a label is one of the most basic things needed in plan-production. It may be a "new feature" for ORD, but since we've had a decent way of labeling for 20 years, it should be a new-and-improved feature that's working out the gate.

I'm not aware of an edit option for a previously placed civil label, other than editing what's available in the properties window.

This is a relatively new feature introduced in ORD 2021 R1, so I would expect it to be quickly evolving and improving in functionality as we gather feedback from our users.

We've just published this month an expanded documentation page on civil labeler, with information on how to define, configure and use the labels:

Thanks, Grzegorz. We will submit an SR for the "auto-rotating" Civil Labels. Is there a way to edit the attributes of previously placed Civil Labels??

This might be a defect, please create a service request (apps.bentley.com/.../ProductSupport) and send us test drawings to reproduce the issue
