Hi All, I going though some training on drainage on ORD 2020R3. I am placing nodes with the Place Node command but can't figure out how to get the automatic catchment option to show in that dialog. I've checked my version and feature definitions. Any thoughts?
This is all I see.
Thanks,
Dave
Maybe try deleting the following file C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenRoadsDesigner\10.0.0\prefs\civil_commands\SUBSURFACE PLACENODE.xml
Then open the software again and try.

Thanks Beebe. Gave your suggestion a shot, deleted file, and restarted software but I still don't get the catchment option in my Place Node dialog box.
Maybe purge the whole C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenRoadsDesigner\10.0.0\ folder. It seems as though you are in the Training and Examples workspace. The Stormwater Inlets should behave the same. I assume you have picked the terrain as the reference surface already and still did not see the dialog adjust accordingly.
Not really sure what is going on. I am using the Training and Examples workspace. I cleaned out my preference directory and created the file again from a new seed. At first that didn't do anything. I switched the node type to manhole and then back to inlet combo. After selecting the surface the dialog did not contain the catchment but then the dialog box kind of blinked and the catchment showed. I think it's a miracle! We'll see how long it sticks around. Thanks for your help!
Dave,
when you first launch Place Node, you may not see the option for Catchment Delineation until you first select the "Reference Element for Node Elevation". Once you do that, the dialog should change so that you have the Catchment Delineation option.
