I have cross sections that will need to be cut to 300' left and right of the alignment. Only 160' left and right will fit on my border. I need to somehow show the rest of the sections left and right. Basically clipping at 160' left and right and adding the additional cross section on another border. Any idea how to do this in ORD? It was real simple in SS4/SS10 with the XSSL files.
Thank you,
Bob
You can reference the drawing model of your long cross section into a blank sheet model (make sure that live nesting is enabled). From there you can clip and adjust levels to make it look right. I've done something very similar with profiles, and while tedious, it works well.
So I've done a little trial and errors today. And the one thing I didn't think would work, does. Thankfully, XS named boundaries do not have to cross the centerline to cut correctly. Only issue I'm now having is how to get a pentable replacement text string on the sheets as they're created. Any thoughts on that?
