Is there a way to close a shape continuing an arc?
We have issues like this constantly when we lactate round surfaces and I can't find a quick way to resolve this like I previously would in geopak
any help would be appreciated
Can you provide an example of how this was accomplished in GeoPak?

It would come in looking the same, from the field but I could edit it with the chain editor to look like this in 10 seconds
Another alternative is to shoot the start and end points very near each other with a close segment of only a foot or less.

Granted but this is an existing job and this happens regularly. It could be a rounded ada panel, wall or foundation like this.
Previously didn't really matter where it was that the field crews closed a shape we could very rapidly fix clean it up in geopak, it seems that in ORD it needs to be on a straight line or as you noted the close shot more or less on top of your starting point. Since the chain editing tools are rather limited.
What if you used the ORD editing tools to append the first point as the last point, which is basically what we did back in the geopak world.?
