Hi,
I am going to create a terrain model using the tool "Create from point cloud" in OpenRoads Designer.
I have attached a large point cloud that I have clipped into a smaller area. I then exported the small clip and attached the point cloud clip. When I try to create a point cloud from the clip, I get an error message saying "No point clouds are visible in the current DGN". I have done terrain models from point cloud clips earlier and I can make a terrain model from the big point cloud. In the properties tab it says that the clip is a point cloud...
Would be really grateful for help!
I got stuck on this issue today as well. I didn't manage to solve it, but found a workaround that works for me. It seems that the issue remains with the file you created the POD within. When I created a new dgn-file and imported my clipped and masked pointcloud (as POD) (which I exported from the "corrupt" file as POD) it worked to create a terrain model from POD.
My original file was created from a 3D-seed, so that was not the issue.
Hope this helps!
Thank you, I will try this!
