Are you using the report browser? It has the ability to convert certain XML files to HTML or to TXT. And when a report is displayed, a right click in the report window will offer a menu containing export or display as other formats. Some steps even offer some options as part of the process.

And, it uses XSL Transformation (XSLT) language to accomplish this, which means that they are very customizable, if you know or learn XSLT syntax.

I have a sample xlsx here. You can export sheet 1 as csv for trying import.communities.bentley.com/.../import_5F00_super_5F00_template.xlsx

when i do a report, it only lets me export as an .xml but to import i need a .csv. where do i get a .csv?

From what I know there is no way to reassign a superelevation section to the alignement, what I do is export the superelevation section by doing a report and then I create a new superelevation section, create the lanes and then re-import the values that were exported with the report. I have found that the CSV report that comes with openroads does not work for everyone. If it does not work for you it can bebecause of the separator use, by default it's a coma (,) but for me it needed to be this (;) a point coma.

This is the issue i'm having. is there a way to re-assign an alignment to the superelevation section?

In your superlevation file, when you select your superelevation section, do you see your alignement name in the properties of it? I have seen superelevation loosing its link to the alignement. When that happen it won't associate with a corridor.

Jing Jing,

The assign super elevation tool will not assign the SE/point control, so nothing shows up in the corridor objects. I have a total on 6 corridors, 3 of which I have been able to apply SE and 3 that are not accepting SE. I'm not doing anything different between the corridors, so I'm unsure as to why I can't apply the SE to the corridors.

I may check the "Point Control" by using Corridor Objects to see whether the Superelevation is set as correct point and reference point.
