Using the perpendicular measure tool from alignment works fine before a PT, but does not work beyond a PT along my alignment. The command keeps going to the PT. Is this something that would cause problems down the road? The label with text favorite works fine. Thoughts?

We've seen this before. There is a the slightest of a gap between the end of curve and the beginning of the tangent.
