Civil Labeler placing text instead of values in cross section

Why is the labeler not showing a value and just text?

  • Doh, 7 months ago?!?  I have the same problem but with profiles instead.. Is there a solution?
I'm using 2021 R2, been trying to fix this for months!

It was working once before but the civil labels display expression instead of numbers!!

I pasted an image, not sure if it worked.
    Please help

  • Larry:

Much of the coding has changed here. The "Manhole Element Manager", for instance, seems to no longer applicable in 2021R2 or 2022R1. That is but merely one example. Go back and check your expressions. It will take a bit of rebuilding, but I have a lot of these and it was only an afternoons worth of work. Nice that Bentley tells us these things, heh?

  • So I'm using the Civil Labeler (since none of the auto-labeling is working) it seems easiest for placing. Sometimes when I'm about to labeling pipe in profile I can just select pipe but the rest of time it says "not snappable" & I feel its because it knows I'm not selecting the correct entity (pipe in prof) or that something is wrong..  For example; the conduit catalog pulls material "Concrete" & I had it changed to custom "CONC": If it lost that lib connection would it not recognize it as a conduit? Are all these types of settings so sensitive to change, then pipe to be not recognized?  Since this is my first workspace/workset/dgnlib/styles I've been making a lot of customized changes on-the-fly & that's never good for any CAD prog..

I need to get it to look like this by wed!!:

How do I list inverts without using Manhole Element Manager?  Why does if feel like I'm the 1st/only one with label problems? Is Civil Labeler too new? What are you doing for work-around?

    Thx, I appreciate any help.
