Hey,
I'm trying to use the Thematic Display: Aquaplaning (with Slope % enabled) to show a visual analysis of cross slopes. The settings are like in the image below. I basically want all slopes >1% to show blue and slopes <1% red
However, in the 3D view it shows slopes larger than 1% as blue which should be red. Image:
Whenever I change the settings from 0% - 1% = blue, to 0% - 0,5% = blue. The 3D view shows the slopes to a maximum of 1% (see image).
Is this a bug, or is there a setting to make the display style a bit more accurate? [Corridor interval is set to 0,25m]
Kind regards,
Beep boop to the top, anybody have anything. I've pretty much looked into every setting, but perhaps I missed something?
Hello,
I'm also having a problem regarding the Thematic Display Styles: Slope. It seemed to me as the same problem, so that's why I'm posting it in this thread.
The terrain model is generated from lines with only a constant elevation (see view 1). So there's only a difference in hight between the lines in one direction. However, the thematic display style creates diagonal lines.
I would like to get an overview of the slope between the lines in perpendicular direction.
I'm also curious to know if this is a setting, or a known bug of some sort.
Thanks in advance,
10.10 Release 2, I don't know if I tested it with 10.11 Release 1 aswell. I heard some changes were made to thematic displays?
What version of ORD are you guys running
Regards,
Mark

Hi,
There is an issue with Thematic display with Terrains in versions older than 2022 Release 1 (that use older versions of Microstation). There are some workarounds on some older posts on the same topic. Not specifically this issue, but likely the same thing.
