Hi there,
My only exposure to the gINT is the geotech module of OpenRoads Designer creating simple borehole information for roadways. In the past I imported this information from a simple excel spreadsheet. I see that option is now gone. What is the best way to create a database that OpenRoads can import? I attached the simple information I am trying to display.
FYI, I'm using OpenRoads Designer CE 2021 Release 2gint-Test.xlsx
Thanks in advance!
Kelby
Hi Kelby,
We keep gINT Civil Tools Professional Plus Update 6 installed in parallel to use for Excel spreadsheet connections. Its essentially just a watered down Microstation PowerPlatform version with just the Geotechnical tools.
We gave up trying to create a database, etc as it was way too much mucking around vs a spreadsheet.
Regards,
Mark

gINT Collector would be the minimum tool to create gINT database from Excel spreadsheet apart from gINT Civil Tools Professional Plus Update 6 as highlighted by Mark.
Thanks Mark. Does gINT Civil Pro Plus Update 6 require a separate license?
I appreciate your responses.
Hi Kelby, I would expect so - a Bentley person would have a better info regarding this.
gINT logs is the good name
