Exporting Graphic Manipulator from Superelevation to DWG? Or making Graphic Manipulators actual annotations?

Hi,

*EDIT: I found that these are actually Graphic Manipulators, is it possible to convert these to actual annotations?

Does anybody know if it is possible to export the slope wedges (see figure) from a Superelevation section to a DWG file. Viewing the wedges in ORD is great, but we need to be able to create XREFs for our Civil3d folks. I don't really care about the Superelevation fill (colors), the wedges are what we need in a DWG format.

Is there a hidden setting somewhere or does ORD not have the function readily available. Whenever I export the file to .DWG, it won't bring the wedges with it.

I'm using 10.10.21.4

Kind regards,

  • I am not aware of a way to get these to export or annotate. If you are leveraging you superelevation into a corridor/terrain, you could potentially develop a label that you could place at these critical locations that would then export. If you aren't already doing a terrain, it might be quicker to just manually annotate them.
