Hi,
*EDIT: I found that these are actually Graphic Manipulators, is it possible to convert these to actual annotations?
Does anybody know if it is possible to export the slope wedges (see figure) from a Superelevation section to a DWG file. Viewing the wedges in ORD is great, but we need to be able to create XREFs for our Civil3d folks. I don't really care about the Superelevation fill (colors), the wedges are what we need in a DWG format.
Is there a hidden setting somewhere or does ORD not have the function readily available. Whenever I export the file to .DWG, it won't bring the wedges with it.
I'm using 10.10.21.4
Kind regards,
see here for a workaround/answer: ORD - Annotate superelevation in plan? - OpenRoads | OpenSite Forum - OpenRoads | OpenSite - Bentley Communities
I'll take another look and see if I can find something. Thank you for your help!
I think that is kind of at the heart of the issue here. I suspect they are stored as "properties" of the Superelevation Lane object and are rendered "on the fly" as manipulators. I have only poked around in the Text Favorites a little, but when I attempted to generate anything using the Superelevation Propeties, the software crashes.

Do you have any idea where ORD saves those Graphic Manipulators (or the labels that it uses)?
We have a system in place to create the annotation in Civil3D, but are trying to figure out if it is possible to do it in ORD only since the process takes up some time.
I didn't want to presume C3D on the other end. If you are working with (or have access to) Civil 3D, it might be worth looking at an export > Import process for the transfer. I haven't explored this directly, but a little Excel wizardry in the middle you might be able to come up with, if not a seamless process, one that isn't quite manually labeling that content.
