Is there a way to add additional triangles to an arc to follow more smoothly (not the outside boundary, but for inner line elements like back of curb)? Other then using the Terrian Model Edit tools?
When processing the terrain, the triangles in areas where arcs are involved, I am trying to get the breakline (back of curb from survey) so that the triangles follow the arc'd portion with a smoother transition. instead of having the arc'd portion utilizing two triangles where connection points are start, middle, and end of the arc, I want to have that arc to have 5 triangles where it's connection points are spaced evenly. Is there a setting for this, or am i stuck having to use the terrain model editing tools and manually change to achieve this?
Try these configuration variables:
The description of how they work isn't entirely straightforward but, simply put, they limit the offset from the curve (horizontal or vertical) to the chord.
