Hello everyone,
I am trying to generate similar grading plan in OpenRoads. Can any one help me which tool should i use to annotate between two point so that such slope can be shown with direction in plan.
Kindly look into this issue and please help.
Thanks and Regards
Deval
Hoping to bump this topic up as I am looking for a similar feature. I would think Civil Labeler would be the way to do it, however none of the built in text favourites have the option for slope between points, only offset. If anyone has an idea how to get this working I'd love to hear.
You have to use a combination of automatic 3D creation and linear 3D annotation. In yout annotation group you add slope and what I do is add an arrow as strat or finis terminator in my annotation group.
Thanks JeremieDL , that helped me a lot. I have got the grade showing, but just another question, do you know how I would draw 3d perpendicular lines between two alignments at a set interval?
Hi Aaron,
Try the Create Transverse Alignment tool - it will create ruled geometry between alignments (both horizontally and vertically)
