Hi,
I have recently updated my ORD to 2021 R2 update 10.10.21.04.
Earlier on, I believe I could create a terrain by element and go to the explorer to change FD to another one?
Like this:
and then go to properties and change FD but now it is locked!
OR - as fare as I recall - I could go to the 2d model and get the properties here and then change the FD but now it is reading it as if it was in a referencefile and I can only override with an ET:
But then when I go to my 3d model, catch the actually terrain and - only from here - change the FD:
I think I would like to be able to do the same through the Explorer if many terrains are present for example
But does this work as designed and why? :-)
Thanks
Regards,
Signe
Hi Signe,
This was broken in 2021 Release 2 (amongst a few other things) unfortunately.

Hi Mark,
Thank you som much for your answer. Helpful in so many ways - thought I was going crazy.
Can you see somewhere what is broken
and
Do you think we should roll back to R1? How bad is it?

as a workaround, try to access properties button from a pop up menu when hovering mouse over the terrain model in 3d view. You should be able to change FD from there.

Thanks Mariusz
But unfortunately not as this use to be one of my favorite ways along with changing it in the Explorer.
