Not able to place a link between the two nodes.

there are some fields that may constrain the placement of the link. for example, that manhole may be limited to Sanitary only - which will prevent a storm Feature link from being added. there is also essentially a matrix of what type of conduits can attach to what type of node. For example a channel can't connect to a manhole.
