Hi everyone,
When drawing vertical curve with radius = 300m as picture below, I need to adjust the origin of curve into specific elevation (or intersection point).
I drag the origin of curve into the specific elevation (or intersection point), but the radius is also being changed automatically.
My question that is how to make the origin of curve matching with the specific elevation (or intersection point) while keeping the radius as I want (r=300m)?
Thank you for your help.

It may not be possible. While I don't know about this specific maneuver, ORD is very bad about not allowing us to lock any values. You may need to adjust the VPC first, then redefine your radius. This also may depend on whether your VPT has some kind of constraint on it (because that will need to change when you do what you ask).

If the entrance and exit grades are fixed and you have a circular vertical curve with a fixed radius then there is only one mathematical solution to create the curve tangential to the entrance and exit grades so the curve could not be adjusted without changing either the radius or the grades
If the curve can be designed as a single element before you add the preceding and following elements, you could use Profile Curve Between Points, using option HighLow\End. This will allow you to place a curve at a point using a given radius.
Thank you, MaryB.
