Not having a large background in creating corridor templates, we are trying to build a template, which has a "sound wall" in it, as a component. However, we do not want the sound wall to influence the proposed terrain model, coming out of the proposed corridor. Basically, we want the sound wall to be present "on top" of the proposed terrain. Actually, the sound wall will be both above and below ground, counting the footing of the wall. Basically, this would be like a retaining wall, which is "retaining nothing".
I'm sure this can be done. Is there a setting for the component, within the template? Or is it dependent on the feature assigned to the component?
Any help would be appreciated.
Look at the use of 3D linestyles that are delivered with the default workspaces. There are some for traffic barriers that could just as easily be a noise wall. It might not even be necessary to be in the ITL - it can be a linear feature from manually drawn elements and the 3D feature symbologies get created using the proposed terrain and 3D linestyles.

Thanks for this information. There may be some 3D line styles, which can be adapted, from the client workspace. I had not thought about that approach. Will check it out.
