I really appreciate your very valuable feedback and have determined that re-cutting my named boundaries is the safe approach here given the importance of my Volume Data to our team. Isn't the whole point of the 3d cuts to avoid recreating sections every time? I'd love to know the answer as well. I would have thought that the the XML data was rewritten on every run, but not sure...

I do hope that you do not think that I am condescending, but I am so impressed with your growth throughout these years of learning ORD. To tell you the truth. I have always recut cross sections at times like yours, but I am interested in seeing if others can answer your quite solid question. Keep on questioning as so many of us should!
