Hello everyone,
I have created a corridor with a simple template.
When selecting different components from the 3D view, I don't always get the volume property in the civil quantities tab (see the images below for reference).
Do you have any idea what could be the issue ?
Regards,
Mark ShamounDisplay Rules ... and same when using templates in the corridor like Template A Template B and again Template A. Or having the same name of components in different templates that are not adjacent in the corridor. I see no mesh volume whenever there is a gap in the 3D mesh.
I looked at your file and this looks like a bug to me. Please submit a service request.

Hi Youssef,
I'm not sure if you have resolved this issue, but we have found that if a component width is less than a certain ratio its linear length the Civil Volume will not be reported. The ratio we have found is approximately 0.3mm width per linear metre, so based on your component length of 7921m only components a min width of around 2.4m in your corridor will report Civil Volumes.
This is still an issue in 2022 R1 so the only option you may have is to break the corridor into smaller parts, around 3km in length.

Your analysis is quite shrewd, Mark. I have noticed the same issue but have not seen a ratio applied to it. Thanks so much!
Best Regards,
haha i did go a bit far trying to find a pattern for it. I am unsure why there is anything linking this component volume value to the linear length (as it isnt necessary), however the pattern cannot be coincidental.
