I'm brand new to using Openroads Designer, and Bentley products in general, so I feel like I may be missing something simple. Here is my issue;
I have a nested file in which I want to turn the display of in sheet view. We'll call this particular file "TARGET." Hierarchal order is: File A > File B > File C > File D > TARGET, with File A being the current session. Through the "Level Display" I navigate to TARGET, highlight TARGET, right-click, un-check "display." After doing so, I can see that TARGET is no longer showing in the current session. I then Save/Save settings. Upon switching to a different view in the current session and returning to the previous view in which the change was made, TARGET is now turned back on. This same issue occurs when turning off/on specific levels within TARGET, not just the file itself entirely.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
key in : SET REFLEVELOVERRIDES and tell me what it is set to - the message will be displayed at the bottom of the app window (the message center) .

"Reference Level Overrides: ON"
are the references attached to the sheet with a saved view ?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that. Is there a way I can check to see if that is the case?
the same place you found the "display overrides" you should see a "synchronize view" option for the reference settings.
Is this the right place to look?
actually double click on the reference and it should open the "settings" dialog. Look down towards the bottom of the list of options.
The other thing to check is the MS_LEVEL_AUTO_SYNC_ATTRIBUTE_LIST variable - see if this is being used in your workspace.
This is what I see when I double click the file. Where would I be able to find, "MS_LEVEL_AUTO_SYNC_ATTRIBUTE_LIST?"
ok it looks like you are not using a saved view.
"MS_LEVEL_AUTO_SYNC_ATTRIBUTE_LIST" - That is a configuration variable - I am guessing you are not familiar with these ?
