other than pipe size-specific linestyles, we don't have two or three lines in 2D for pipes yet, right?
Ditto. We had started working on VBA Code that would modify the 2D feature to read the drainage property and replace the default symbology with an appropriate linestyle. But I lost access to the programmer due to the contract expiring so that's currently dead in the water and I am not even sure where the code even exists.
Let me add a question: When a pipe is resized, do end sections or endwalls also update to the correct size needed to match the pipes?

This thread reinforces my belief that the right people at Bentley don't review the forums in a timely manner. They have a response to this. I have used my considerable weight (which unfortunately appears to only affect the bathroom scale) to urge Bentley to split off OpenRoads Drainage and Utilities into its own forum. Currently, our questions and issues are lost in a sea of roadway stuff. Our Searches return a flood of irrelevant roadway, GEOPAK,Drainage, InRoads Storm & Sanitary "results".
A new forum devoted to ORD Drainage and Utilities issues will
While there is a bit of work involved in populating the relevant current D&U content over to a D&U-focused Forum, doing so will provide immediate value to D&U users. Outside of that, it's not a particularly heavy lift for Bentley to do this and increase their D&U support experience rather dramatically.
If you support this idea, please use your clout to move this forward.
Oh, I certainly agree, Jeff. Thankfully, there are a few DU folks out here to help out; Robert Garrett, Jonathan Smith, Karl Dauber, etc, all of whom have been good to me personally. My clout is even less than yours, but I will do what I can!

to repurpose the Sagan Standard: "Extraordinary Complexity Requires Extraordinary Support". ORD D&U is the most complex software I've seen in 30+ years by far. The support should actually be correspondingly better than the roadway scope, but it is considerably worse. This is, of course, expected due to the disparity in userbase numbers, but squeaky wheels...
Yep, Robert, Karl, and you have been very helpful, but none of my SELECT money sees its way to you, does it? Y'all shouldn't be forced to carry the forum. I've always told Jonathan that he has the hardest job at Bentley, merging two disparate verticals. I think he's done a great job and trust him to continue to do so. The software is getting very good, but the Extraordinary Complexity demands a high level of support. Support Effectiveness is directly related to commitment. Jonathan can beg for resources, but without us yelling, the resource managers assume we're satisfied. You all know the importance getting timely support is to the successful use of this product.
Jeff (and Jonathan, and whoever else at Bentley who might read Jeff's post):
Yes! I agree wholeheartedly! Please consider this me "yelling" for more resources to address Drainage and Utilities! Many clients want to use D&U, but there is so much improvement in the product that is needed to really get it to where it needs to be. I will resist posting a wish list here, as that would surely kick off a long thread, going well beyond the subject of the OP.

The ability to display the internal and external conduit walls in the 2D design model is a thing in the next version. It's done by letting you specify additional element templates in the conduit feature definition.
There will be a Youtube playlist that covers the changes in functionality, when the next version is released.

thanks. Many will be happy to see this Answer.
Jonathan:
I would like to make sure that these 2D Interior and exterior walls will have independent definitions. Is such the idea here?
Can you give me some more information on what you're looking for with independent definitions please Mark?
