Terrain Model by Fence

Question

Does anyone know if its possible to make the Terrain Model by Graphical Filter tool honor a fence? I want to create terrain models for features only inside a fenced area. No matter what I do when using a graphical filter, it pulls in everything from the entire dgn.

Hi Jason, I don't think there is a way only with the graphical filter method. But after the terrain is created, you can draw a shape and use "Create Clipped Terrain Model" under Additional Methods. This will rule it to the original terrain, but if you want to unlink it you can select "Remove Rule."
