I kind of have a multiple questions regarding Template drops and libraries
1. When synchronizing the template library to the corridor I get the error
Even though it is definitely in there.
Then within in the Corridor Objects Template Drops it is red (assuming red means not found and blue means updated??). And when I try to re-path with "..." the template is already selected.
What is going on and is there a way to prevent this from happening as it seems to do this often
I actually dealt with this VERY frequently on my last job. It was very annoying. I noticed the error starting to arise once I started copying the itl and model files locally and then pasting back to a shared network. When trying to re-process, I would get this error. It was completely bugged. It actually happened to my surface templates as well, but without the same error message.
The quick fix I found was this:
If you are a modeler who uses a lot of template drops versus one "God-Template" then this fix may not be for you. But I didn't find any other solutions for it. As you stated, re-selecting the template from library does NOTHING to fix it like it did in SS10. If you continue to have issues, please let me know. This was a persistent error I ran into, especially after the 10.10 update.
Thank you for your response. If it does continue to happen I will definitely try this. Unfortunately this is a 10 mile long design that does have a good bit of template drops right now so I will keep this information in mind.
If you move or copy the ITL file or move, copy, rename templates things can get confused in this manner. The actual pointer to the template is not the path/name of the template but is a GUID instead. Even when the names seem to match the GUID can be wrong.
Easiest fix is edit the template drop to post my to some different template then put it back to the one it I supposed to be
Hopefully you only have a few drops which exhibit this error.

I feel your pain. I had a 9 mile job with about 7 or 8 separate model files in it. But I tend to model with a ton of things in 1 template instead of separate templates so it was easy enough to re-drop 1 or 2 templates per file with the error.
Do you know why they changed to a GUID instead of just the relative name as it was in Microstation? It seems like an odd thing to change to me considering so many people model locally versus over networks.
