I am using ORD CE 2021 R2 and am having an issue with the cross section elements showing up as solid (fill) shapes that print solid black or gray. The element template only defines the level which should have a line weight of 0 and a material. I have no idea where the fill shape is coming from or why it prints.
Any suggestions?
I'm having a similar problem on one project. The material images are being displayed on the sections like Jessica, plotting as a solid shape. I tried finding where its coming from and keep striking out.
Hi,
This is because your 3d model View 1 is set to a rendered display style like Smooth. Try changing it to Wireframe and your section display style should change back to standard shapes.

Ah, yes. That was it for the most part. I had to update the sections from the saved view in order for the changes to be reflected. Thank you for the response.
Did you have to change each section drawing view to make it work?
Mark,
I have 2D in view 1 - Wireframe, and Default-3D in view 2 - Wireframe. Cross sections drawings for some reason have Default-3D attached with presentation Monochrome and components ar filled. I have no idea how to control this.
Also in sheet seed dgnlib, ale is set to wireframe. In the drawings for Default-3D attachment, I have set up update from Design Model Settings.
Really get headache with this now.
Possibly you can help with this.
Best,
Adam

Hi Adam,
To have control via Design Model, you need Default-3D to be displayed in View 1 and it will adopt display settings that that in your sections.
Try setting the 3d model in View to Wireframe and Save Settings, and it should get updated in all section models.
