Let's start with...
Have you tried deleting your RSC files? Often bits of data get stuck in there and corrupted which can lead to...unexpected...results.

Unfortunately, I no longer have SS2 on my computer, so I cannot give you the exact location of the RSC files. I know they are in one of the Geopak specific directories, in the ...\bin\ directory. You may have to do a Search with Windows Explorer to get a hint.

The other time I have seen this is when the cross sections were cut with an alignment name, then the alignment was renamed through COGO. I don't know a particularly good quick fix for that.

And just to cover everything I can think of quickly, is RDY the Job you are supposed to use? If you click the magnifying glass next to Job, does it take you to your RDY file, or does it take you somewhere else. Even though you can use tools without the Project Manager, I opt for the Manager every time to make sure that the entire project is loaded correctly.

That is a GEOPAK tool.

Just so you know, NCDOT was/is a GEOPAK shop. Tools like this may require GEOPAK to work.

Workspace is for NCDOT. I was able to find a guide from the SCDOT about using this same feature, but it doesn't help with the error.

Whose Workspace are you using? I do not believe this tool is a Bentley tool but may be a custom tool provided with the workspace.
