Can someone explain to me how you un-dock Inroads from the taskbar on the far left of the window?( I'm running Microstation V8I ss4 ) For some reason the dialog box doesn't show up on screen as a seperate window like it usually does.
I don't know if somehow I inadvertantly clicked on something, and it now just defaults to docking in the taskbar.
Some things I've already tried:
No Luck with any of the above solutions.
The pictures shown indicate what I see when navigating menus.
Right click and hold in a view. The popup menu should have an Explorer Show/Hide menu near the top. It can also be found under the InRoads Tools menu. There is even a button on the tasks menu under InRoads Commands > Tools.

Thanks Holly, I'll keep this in mind should I need to delete a corrupted upf in the future.
I would delete your user preference folder and relaunch Inroads. It is located here: C:\Users\<user.name>\AppData\Local\Bentley\MicroStation\8.11.
