I'm just lookinf for some insight to see if I am the only one who ran into this issue and if there are any solutions I may not have considered.
We are working through adapting the FDOT 10.10.02 Workspace into ProjectWise, working with Bentley's Dynamic Workspaces.
So far, this has wporked quite well, except for one tool:
Takeoff Manager in the FDOT Ribbon tool collection.
When we go to "Create" a report, we get this message.
I know this was not originally designed for ProjectWise, but I also don;t believe that no one else has run into this.
Any insight or assistance would be helpful.
Thank you!
We had a similar issue a while back here at our firm and we traced it back to a file permissions issue (user didn't have rights to modify files).
I'm not saying this is the answer but it may be something to take a look at.
We discovered that this is by design: The default location of the resource and the output folder's are based upon the installation location of the Client or Workstation FDOT Workspace app.
There is a workaround but it depends on how you store your worksets for your projects and a Registry edit.
I also believe that there is a fix coming in an up-coming FDOT update.
Thanks
