My file is set up so the design line work is on the "Default" model, and I have several sheet models within the same DGN file that reference the default model. My issue that if I need to "activate" reference to edit linework in the default model, one or more recent edits in the sheet model will vanish/"undo".
For instance, if I draw a dimension on one part of the sheet model, but then see that I am missing a line in the default model, I might activate the reference. However, the dimension I just drew disappears! Sometimes, several recent complex edits in the sheet model might revert. This is particularly frustrating when the edit I need to make to the default model is based on those edits in the sheet.
My question is: Is this the expected behavior, or a bug in the software. Is there anyway to deactivate this feature, or otherwise ensure that the edits are properly saved so that they don't revert?
I am using "OpenRoads Designer CE 2021 Release 2 (10.16.02.16)".
