The Edit Model command returns a message: "Ambiguous Command." What causes that? How can I delete triangles in the revised area?

RE: Why is Edit Model an Ambiguous Command?

I created the terrain using points and breaklines placed by TopoDOT. I notice that, as I reach a certain limit, the terrain becomes un-linked. From the way it behaves at that point, I assume that deleting the points does not update the terrain. The triangles (contours, etc) remain after I delete the outdated points where grading has taken place on the site.

RE: Why is Edit Model an Ambiguous Command?

Hi Jon,

please follow the best practice and share information about used product and its exact version, because it is not clear whether you use OSD, ORD, ORLD... and what version.
The Edit Model command
Do you mean Edit Model tool (not command), available in ribbon in Open?Modeling > Editor tab?

My first impression of "command" word was that you mean "edit model" key-in, but it does not exist ;-)

With regards,

please keep in mind that questions in English should be posted in the dedicated forum:

OpenRoads/OpenSite Forum (English).

This will help not only us, but also you to get a proper answer.
I am moving your post to the English language forum. :)

___

In the meantime, could you please share with us your file and show which part of terrain you want to delete? Are you using Edit Terrain Model Tools?
