This video should help. Basically an asymmetrical vertical curve is a compound vertical curve with two different K values. Similar to a compound horizontal curve which has 2 different radii.

Ah, you want an asymmetric vertical curve, where the PVI is offset from the midpoint of the curve length? That's what that diagram shows.

I don't work with asymmetric curves (not allowed here in general) so I can't really help with that. Hopefully someone here does have experience with these, and can help you design what you need. You can also try searching the Help for "asymmetric" to see if it runs anything up.

Geometrically, I believe that can really only happen if the entrance and exit grades are identical. If the grades differ, the low point of the curve will be offset toward the flatter grade because that end of the curve is "lower" than the steeper end.

I think, if you would have the lowest point of the curve in intersection point, that wouldn't make any geometrical sense or radiuses of the curve would = 0.
