Hi,
In profile view, I draw curve between two lines. But the low point is far from intersecting position of two lines?
How can I draw curve with the low point at intersecting position of two lines?
Thank you in advance.
I'm using OpenRoads Designer CE - 2021 Release 2

Thank you T T,
I think your instruction is the best solution right now.

This video should help. Basically an asymmetrical vertical curve is a compound vertical curve with two different K values. Similar to a compound horizontal curve which has 2 different radii. (+) Video: Vertical Compound Curve - OpenRoads | OpenSite Wiki - OpenRoads | OpenSite - Bentley Communities

Ah, you want an asymmetric vertical curve, where the PVI is offset from the midpoint of the curve length? That's what that diagram shows.
I don't work with asymmetric curves (not allowed here in general) so I can't really help with that. Hopefully someone here does have experience with these, and can help you design what you need. You can also try searching the Help for "asymmetric" to see if it runs anything up.

Hi MaryB
I saw the picture on internet as below,
I expect to create one curve with lower point at station of PVI.
Geometrically, I believe that can really only happen if the entrance and exit grades are identical. If the grades differ, the low point of the curve will be offset toward the flatter grade because that end of the curve is "lower" than the steeper end.
