Tried using stripping/leveling component and applied as surface template, but stripping/leveling components do not show up in model when surface template is applied. I cannot find any Bentley documentation stating if this is possible or not.
Surface templates do not support overlay components, but the create closed mesh tool can be used instead https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/52010/video-create-closed-meshes
