I'm transitioning from InRoads to OpenRoads and I can't seem to find the equivalent command for Generate Transverse Feature (slope lines).
Is this feature available in OpenRoads and if so, can someone please point me in the direction of where it can be found?
Thanks!!
To produce slope lines. To indicate the direction of the slope on plan views.
I thought there were some other uses for them as alluded to above.
Agree that batter slope lines should be completely integrated into corridors/Linear Templates instead of the troublesome annotation group method we have now.
Have you guys added this to the Civil ideas site: https://bentleyopencivil.ideas.aha.io/ideas?

I have not, but I think some individuals from my organization have been speaking to Bentley directly about this issue.
Dear Paul,
The link you shared, following the video I have tried more than 100 times , but unfortunately I am still not able to generate Earth Work Slope Lines in my files. I click as shown in the video but no annotation shows in the file. I have raised Service request in this regard, I have shared the files with Bentley representitive, But problem not yet resolved..... still waiting. I am using MX Road since last 20 years, I have never faced problem in creating slope annotaion in MX. I think Bentley does not have a proper workflow or Tool for Slope Annotation in ORD.

For triangulation, you have the functional equivalent of transverse features in the top mesh component. Just add the top mesh to the terrain model as a break line element. For me, on most projects, the top mesh is the best source for making a proposed terrain model, albeit a little extra work than using a filter to extract linear features.
