I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Looking for a way to export points to a .txt file with Point Number, Northing, Easting, Elevation, and Code as the format.
Also, it would be helpful if the linking codes would export as well. That way the linework would come in correctly to our field crews DC if needed.

Could you save as .csv, then open the .csv and save a .txt?

It can be done that way, but that requires having to edit the CSV every time. It exports all info about the point. So you would have to delete the first row (being the column headers) and any columns that you don't want every time you export. And if a point has a description, it puts it in a separate column as well.
I wonder if there might be a way to generate a Report that could be converted to/saved as a text file.But I haven't done much with them, so I can't really help.
