By chance, have you checked the feature symbology to ensure that the plan or default element template is pointing to the appropriate line style?

Another thing would be to check the level display for your default model.

As a test, you could also try changing the point feature definition in your template (assuming this issue is related to a corridor) then see if the new feature displays in plan view. If it does, change the point feature back to it's original FD.

Other line style do appear, including the guardrail style when drawn in by hand. I also verified in my attributes that line styles is toggled on.

As a test, can you try using the MicroStation place line command in your 2D model and use several different linestyles to place the line. Do they appear? If none of the linestyles appear in this view, I would advise checking the view attributes>linestyle to ensure it's toggled on.

Hmmm...If it's in the feature definition, I think you can get there through Explorer. It's not going to be with the element, but I'm not sure if they are saved into the design file when they are used. If you didn't change the feature that may not be it.

Hopefully someone else will be along with more information. I'm still learning OpenRoads, so I know a few things to check but there are so...many...settings...

I had no luck finding the toggle that was mentioned. I used the search feature within ORD to try and locate it (the "feature definition set"), but no luck. If it's a back stage item, I have reinstalled the configuration and workspace information provided to designers in GA from GDOT. I've toggled various settings in the end condition exception to no luck

Which software, and which version are you using?

I can't recall the specifics, but there is a setting that will generate the line in 2D as well as 3D. I suspect you may have accidentally turned that off. I believe you can find more information with a search here - I've seen that discussed before.
