I am looking for step by step information as it pertains to utilizing the sheet index that would work with our specific pen tables, if anyone has had any success using this feature it might be a solution a system that i am trying to create in our planning and transportation dept.

The Sheet Index itself does not utilize Pen Tables. It's just a way to organize and number your sheets. When you send the sheets to Print Organizer for printing then you would select the Print Style that has your Pen Table defined.
