Here am I just venting because I have nothing else to do with my life but stay late, not creating value for my clients or solving issues that matter but trying to get this disaster of software to work. The number one reason why I want to quit engineering is that I have to use this software. I hate it so bad, is so unstable and everything that it promises to accomplish falls way short off, I don't get it. so sick of working hours on end to achieve nothing and then having to eat those hours myself, time that I could have spent with family or doing something productive instead of dealing with this disaster.
Hi Isaac,
Could you please let us know which software and version do you use?
Have you reported via SR any of the issues you have experienced with the product you are using? are there any Defects\Bugs filed against them?
Every day is something new with this thing, today in the morning I have to deal with this:
The magical rotated text on my border that every time I fix it it just goes back to being rotated.

Here you go thanks for your help
This looks to be standard Microstation DGN data, no ORD annotation or anything - is that right?

YES
I had a look at this and the text that you are seeing rotating are Tag elements. I haven't used these for a very long time so not too sure what could be causing the rotation (it doesnt happen for me). Needless to say, this is something down to basic Microstation CAD functionality (it doesnt have anything to do with ORD plan production or the Civil side of things),
Perhaps posting this same issue in the Microstation forum may get a solution faster?

Based on this post, it may have something to do with the Tags originally being created in v8i?
OR
The Tag text has an element Template including a "TitleBlk-RW" cell. This cell may include some settings affecting text rotation? Is there a reason it needs to use this Element Template. Try using one without the cell and see if that helps.
