I am a new OpenRoads user switching from Power InRoads.
I am trying to export a set of cross sections created in ORD into a one (1) dwg file. The problem is when I select a sheet set which includes more than one section or use a fence

RE: OpenRoads - Export Cross Sections to Dwg

It works.

Have a look in your DWG export settings. The setting you use for "Non-Default Design models" and "Create Seperate Files for Sheets" controls this and should allow you to keep it all in one DWG file.

I selected both drawing and sheet models and it worked. The only issue is that more than one dwg file is created and I need to delete all except one which includes all cross sections.

RE: OpenRoads - Export Cross Sections to Dwg

Hi Arash,

Make sure your DWG export settings includes merging of References. No need for any manual fence to file processes.

Also, make sure the drawing models are selected at the same time as the Sheet models so they come out together. This is required for both DWG and DGN when trying to get a multi-model merged output.

RE: OpenRoads - Export Cross Sections to Dwg

I'm gonna try it.
Once you have the ORD sections, follow the steps in the linked post.

You will end up with static cross sections EXACTLY like V8i/InRoads (mainly because Benzi Papo is a genius).

RE: OpenRoads - Export Cross Sections to Dwg

No I didn't.
