I'm looking for a way to move a point without changing the elevation. I have tried selecting the point, selecting the move tool, and then clicking on a blank area for my base point, making sure I'm not snapping to anything, and doing the same to place the point. I have also tried snapping to the point to move it. Both of these ways change the final elevation. Just wanting to not have to copy the elevation and paste it back in every time I move a point.

Is this a Survey Point in a 3D DGN, or just a 'regular' OpenRoads Point? I suspect it's a Survey Point since that's the area where moving it whacks the elevation. One way that I do it is to use Civil AccuDraw. Turn it on, set it to XY and toggle on the "Z" option. Then when you select the Point, TAB down past the X and Y to the Elevation (Z) and ENTER to Lock that value. Then move and place and the Z will remain the same. ... but be aware that the Graphical Manipulators don't work at certain Zoom levels in the more recent versions of ORD Survey. ... if you're doing this in ORD Survey.
Or just select the Point, <D> on the Graphical Manipulator, keep it pressed down and drag the point where your want it. That method is less delicate, but will retain the elevation.

It is a Survey Point in a 3D DGN. Both of these work, thank you for your help.
