Hello all,
I am an FDOT Connect User. We are having issues when using the new civil labeler tool. If we try to undo a command, it deletes all callouts that we have created using the civil labeler tool, and it doesn't allow you to re-do the command. We have lost so much progress on plan labeling because of this. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what is the work around?
I've had this issue with the civil labeler since October of 2022 at least. But just now, for the first time, it happened when I wasn't doing any sort of annotation. Hit ctrl+z and lost an hour of geometric work in a file with no labels whatsoever.
No, sir, still no luck for me.
Any update on this thread? I'm having the same issue - FDOTConnect built on 10.10.21.04 (2021 R2). This also happens with Placed Notes, bot just labels created with Civil Labeler.
We also have users from around the country using different state DOT standards encountering this problem sporadically. Some people complain of the problem placing plan labels. Others have problems with profile labels. Wish I knew what was causing this problem.
Not so much a solution as a best practice. We try to keep our TEXTRD files federated as much as possible to minimize the impact of corruption or, in this case, re-work due to a bug. That, and avoiding the Undo tool in any TEXTRD files...
