I'm currently working on a DOT project that was shelved for a few months, during that time many changes have been made to the base files (we use a nested base, referenced to the plan sheets) My problem is that the changes made to the nested base are not showing up on the previously cut plan sheets. I have to turn levels on and off in the sheets, instead of being able to make the changes once in the base. It is like a "visretain" set on. Is there a new setting in Connect that I am missing? Something that I can turn on/off to have my changes shown on my sheets? Or do I have to recut all my sheets to have these changes show up?
There is a setting on the Drawing Model Reference dialog for the file in question that can be set to "Settings From Design Model" that will allow the master model to set the display of the subsequent Drawing/ Sheet models.
This is a relatively new setting that is typically set up in the Drawing Sheet Seeds so that it is used automatically when sheets are created. It's likely that your sheet seeds were created prior to this functionality being introduced.
The version of ORD you are currently using has that functionality, so I'm confident that you can manually go into each Drawing model and reset that setting and it should update your sheets. If you elect to recreate your sheets, you will still have to manually set that setting again if your levels change in your base file later, unless someone goes into the sheet seed and updates it there prior to creating the new sheets.
One thing to note is that you need to change View display settings (ie. constuctions, Level Overrides, etc. ) and View display in View 1 for this to work best

Joe, thank you so much for pointing that out! And it worked!
