Manhole Profile Labels- Invert Directions

Question

Hello, 
 I'm trying to create MH labels for our storm profile sheets. The only thing I cant figure out is how to get the N,E,S,W preffix in the label. Id like it to be dynamic instead of manually adding it. I know for Auto CAD the option is called "pipe direction" but I can't find this in ORD. I've shown an example of what I'm trying to add below: 
 (S) INV 99.8m 
 (N) INV 99.7M

The Conduit Angle is measured counter-clockwise, from due East. Knowing this, you can create a User Data Extension (UDX) to work out the quadrant. You can use nested IF statements in a formula UDX for this. There's some information on this subject here:

No - there are no plans to deprecate the ability to annotate using properties from the databases. 
 From 2021 Release 2 onwards, you can't by default annotate using properties from the databases if the DGN that contains the databases is referenced, so that may be what you're thinking of. We've added more properties on to the graphical elements, so that there's less of a need to access the databases, because these properties are available in referenced files. Conduit catalog labels, for example, are available in the "Description" property in the Feature Definition category, and the shape and size of a conduit are also available. 
 For 2022 Release 1, we have added an expression builder to Item Types, which makes it easier to set these up to read properties from the databases, including UDX, and we've fixed some bugs so that Item Types can now be attached to Drainage and Utilities feature definitions and work correctly when an element is placed.
