view control

When I chose View Control "2 views Plan/3D" it will open up both views correctly but when I am working in Openroads and need to rotate the 3d view, it will have converted to 2D. I double click the view making it full screen then back to half screen and it is 3D again. What causes the view to convert to 2D

Could you please clarify if when choosing View Control "2 views Plan/3D" the View 2 viewport displays your "Default" model instead of the "Default 3D"?

View 1 is the default 2D model, View 2 is the 3d Isometric with display style “Illustration: Ignore Lighting”. View 2 will still looks the same, but it seems to lose the 3D aspic, when you try to rotate the view it will rotate like a 2D view. I have not found, what I do in OpenRoads to cause it, but it happens fairly regularly.
