Trying to create a proposed profile using an existing alignment. The existing alignment has a profile showing the existing grade. Attaching the existing alignment and terrain in a new file and I cannot show the existing profile. In the existing alignment file when I create a proposed profile it converts the existing alignment to a proposed alignment. How can I create a proposed profile and not change the existing alignments Features, or have the proposed show as existing profile feature. Not sure the best way to proceed with this.

Interesting - I can create profiles with different features from the actual alignment, and I don't think I'm doing anything special. I don't know how your features are set up, though.

MaryB thought I was able to do the same in the past, but I don't use Power Geopak often. I have encountered another issue that I posted on too. It's VBA Interface Error: failed creating the application object - 0x80040562. Maybe something else is going on.
