Hello,
Looking for some advice on how to Query a Station using the ORD "Civil Analysis by Point" tool. That tool outputs Stationing readings in three (3) different places (marked in my screen capture below by red arrows) but none of these data points seem to be selectable to Copy/Paste into a another field, into excel, notepad or whatever else.
Is there a keyin that will query a geometry that outputs a selectable field for copying?
Hi Matt,
as Jon wrote, because your question is about OpenRoads Designer and not about MicroStation Programming, please move this discussion to the right forum. Please do not ask again to avoid duplicated post, but use Move tool as Jon described.
Also, please follow the best practices and always specify the used product and its exact version.

I think no such key-in exists (but I am not advanced ORD user). Maybe you should create a new idea how the tool should be enhanced.

Hi and thank you for the responses.
I had already asked this question within the ORD forum with no luck on a viable solution. I was hoping to learn about possibly using a Key-In (if one exists) to query an object and possible write a VBA to do something within ORD, using the MIcrostation platform, which is why I posted within the Microstation Programing forum. I know a bit of C++, C# and was hoping to use that knowledge in compilation with the advice I gained from the forum, and from you fine people to get me pointed in the right direction. Thank you.
All programming questions should be posted in the programming forum. Development is responsible to reply to those.
Here is a link to the Civil Programming forum.

Try the ORD SDK - there is an example called PointAnalysisReporter that should do what you are looking for.

ok, now context is more clear...

Unfortunately, no such information was shared in your original question. And hiding information is still problem in this discussion: When you mentioned former discussion, why you do not link it? It requires all people willing help to try to find this discussion (I assume it is this one) to check what was discussed in the past.

There is no such information in your original question. When you want to discuss programming, use (move the discussion to) Civil Programming forum, as recommended by Beebe Ray.
It is highly recommended (see both general and programming best practices) to use standardized subject [<product> <version> <language>] <short question>, in this case probably something like [ORD 10.11 C#/C++] Use "Civil Analysis by point" tool results in code, because it tells everything important in subject.
[<product> <version> <language>] <short question>
[ORD 10.11 C#/C++] Use "Civil Analysis by point" tool results in code
In my opinion, in both discussions the right (although different) answers were provided:

Your question is solely about "civil": How to interact with ORD tool or how to build own one. There is no big intersection with MicroStation and platform functionality.
Thank you for your response.
You can create geometry points then run a report.
You could also create a event point and run a report.
Also an option to do station base report on the objects.
