I'm getting an error of VBA Interface error: failed creating the application object - 0x80040562. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Klaudia Piekielniak Thank you for the reply. I will check if SS10 has any prerequisite, but I don't recall any. I also was able to recreate the problem on another computer. Makes me wonder if its the file or the setup. I know the setup had previously worked so I was leaning towards the file.

It could certainly be the file - SS4/10 corruptions are a distinct possibility.
The other question might be if you have had a Windows update recently. Sometimes those can "break" things behind the scenes.

Do you know if a reinstall might repair the windows update?
A reinstall might re-install whatever component was overwritten by the update. I don't know for certain, but it's definitely possible.
