This is probably a very simple question.
I use the quick profile transition tool a lot but once an arc becomes part of a complex element I can't then use it on that arc. I typically use the tool before complexing but what is the best way around this if I don't as I don't want to drop the complex. The only thing I can think of is the reverse profile transition but this isn't as clean or simple a solution as if I would have used the quick tool before complexing.
Damn, and I thought this would be an obvious one...
Hi Ken,
You are right. There is obviously missing important functionality. We need the ability in the Quick Profile Transition (QPT) to select fillet that is part of a complex element similar to Alt option (to Pick Components of Complex) for Arc Between Elements > Simple Arc when applying fillet at PI between two complexed tangents without a curve.
Currently it is a trap. If you design pavement edges at junction / intersection in 2d only which involves complexing the edge and then you decide to apply levels you cannot use the mighty QPT. You can apply levels to base elements of tangents but have not access to the fillets with the QPT.
Similarly this is relevant to civil cells where the last thing you want is to drop or delete the civil cell.
Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to simply select a fillet being part of a complex element.
I am surprised seeing no interest here.

Mariusz
