I am having a problem where a component is not showing it's Volume in the civil quantities when you look at its properties from the Default 3D space. Dues to this the Item type attached does not get the Volume in. Is this problem encountered earlier.
Yes it could happen sometimes even less and less with newer versions. I assume you checked that it is a closed shape component. Then, do you have any clipping ? Or sometimes transition between templates can cause such issue.
Thank you Jean-Pierre always nice to get a reply from you. Yes it is a closed shape component and no clipping . I will check and try to resolve the transition and see if that works. The version is OpenRail 2021 R2. Thank you once again.
Hi Pavi,
We usually see this when we use template display rules to turn off the display of sections of the component - is this the case or anything the component is subjected to that could be causing it?

Thank you Mark for the valuable advise . I am not having display rules on that component but your advice will help as I will check if point constrains to a component with display rules is what is creating the problem.
I'm not sure if you have since resolved this issue, but this post may help:
