Hi
I am attaching Itwin to my 3D model where I cut cross-section in OpenRoads Designer 2022 R1.
It looks perfect in Default-3D model, however, it is not displayed correctly on cross-sections. Basically, it is not displayed at all, just a few odd elements.
I am in need of cutting interdisciplinary cross-sections, all other disciplines are provided as IFC models.
Is there a way to make it work? Why it wouldn't be visible on sections while it is in 3D model.
Also, I exported this itwin to IFC, all in one, can open it in any IFC viewer but this IFC is not recognized by ORD. Strange as it was produced with Bentley itwin platform.
Has anyone here was sucesfull with attaching itwin as reference and then cutting sections?
Adam
I have the same problem. My I-Twin is done with openroads models and the only thing that is displayed is the crossing linear features. Did you try all the IFC export version?
I exported to every IFC version available on the ITwin platform. none od these can be attached to ORD 2022 R2 but can be opened with free IFC BIMVision viewer.
It would be perfect I we could use iTwin as an attachment to the 3D model and then cut sections.

IFC 2x3 does works for me, in reference or when importing.
Really? IFC 4.3 should be the only incompatible version. Do you get an error?
